Stars and Where To See Them

You can stargaze anywhere if you have clear skies, simply stop what you’re doing and look up.  A cheap set of binoculars will really open the skies up for you and buying a telescope is usually the start of a life-long obsession.

Dark sky discovery sites, like our Dark Sky Discovery Observatory at Battlesteads, and dark sky areas – like the dark sky park in Northumberland are even better if you want to see thousands of jewel-like stars twinkling away in the curtain of night.
