If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to take awesome pictures of the night sky then we have the perfect events for you.  You can either choose Nightscape photography OR Astrophotography.

NightScape Photography

This is more aimed at DSLR users who want to capture landscape and sky images such as the one below of the Milky Way reflected in the pond behind the Battlesteads Dark Sky Observatory.  The picture was taken by Martin Kitching, who is a director, lead astronomer and NightScape Photography Expert. Dark Skies AstroPhotography

This is aimed at people wanting to take pictures through telescopes, of anything from the Moon and planets to really far away, deep sky objects such as as Galaxies, Nebluae and Clusters.  This image was take at the Battlesteads Dark Sky Observatory by Chris Duffy, Observatory Director, lead astronomer and Dark Skies Astrophotography Expert.
